About two years ago I bought a Kindle Voyage Paperwhite and used it for weveral months before giving it to a friend who was going blind. He got a lot of happy use out of it before he passed away, so that worked. Recently I bought a Kindle Oasis and was struggling with the commands. This Quick Guide helped me become faster and more confident in a hurry. I love that the device is totally readable in bright sunshine. One thing I'd like to see is being able to change the screen from black on white to white on black. That may be available, but I haven't found how it do it. Also, it may not even be viable, but it seems to me that it would be good to try. Still rate this device at five stars.

Should have come with the oasis.

It is easier to use than I anticipated. I am a great reader and now have more time to read but not the space to keep a lot of books. I was a long time before I made the decision and felt it would be strange to read for pleasure from a screen. I have been pleasantly surprised.The 'guide' also helped as I was apprehensive about tis (I'm 81),

I ordered it by mistake, not reading its title "Oasis", having a different Kindle model (5.9.6) !Trouble is - when ordered - I was immediately charged, with no option of canceling my purchase!$3 may not be a big deal ( I quickly erased the book from my Kindle), but the principle is a big deal...
