I have read three of this author’s books. I enjoyed the first two for the interesting story line and characters. The editing is abominable in all three. Amazon should have some minimal literacy standards for the books they sell. There are many reviews posted that mention the author’s lack of editing. The author doesn’t care enough for the readers to read their reviews.

Really a great series. I have just finished book 3 and will get 4 asap. I gave you 5 stars, It should have been lower because of all of the editing errors. You or those working re with you can do a lot better than what you are doing now..

A very pleasing storyline as Detective Storm, newly returned to Naples Florida, takes on some very merciless characters there, and in Fort Myers. Why not 5-Stars you ask? It's simply that a good editorial review -- even by Beta readers -- would get that extra star as the glitches are removed before release.

This was a great read, couldn't put it down! I have been pleased to discover this author and greatly enjoyed his two previous books. Each book gets better as he develops his skills as a story teller. Stone is an emerging talent that compares with Randy W. White, Ed Robinson and Stinnett. I look forward to more to come!

Like the characters. Have read the entire series. Waiting on the next one. Well edited which is a nice change from some of the e-books I have read recently.

I like the series. The storyline is good, the characters are engaging, and I love the Southwest Florida setting. However, Mark Stone needs to fire his editor (or hire one). All three books are riddled with spelling and punctuation errors. In some cases, even the wrong word is used (bobble instead of bauble for example). I tried hard to ignore these mistakes, but they were frequent enough to hamper my enjoyment. I did make it through all 3 books, however, so I'm giving 3 stars. Mr. Stone, if you are reading this review, and would be interested in my services as a proofreader/editor, look me up 😉

Need to hire more or different proof readers. The grammar is okay but there are lots of typos. More than I have seen before. Great stories though and we'll written!

Needed this book for a class in Deaf Culture. Very insightful and an excellent perspective. I would suggest this book to anyone who is interested in learning more about deaf culture

I bought this book for my Deaf Culture class and I am very glad that this was required reading. Although I have been taking ASL classes for 10 years and have been involved in the Deaf community I still found this book to be very eyeopening.I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is well written with good flow and gives insight to the Deaf perspective.

I am loving this book. I am currently studying ASL in college and this book has great insight into the deaf world and how life is different for deaf people. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to know more about deaf culture or just deaf people in general. Really opened my eyes.

This book is just excellent to take one into another world, a world that is closed to most of us in hearing world, that of the Deaf.It has made me sensitive to this other language group and its rich history and culture. The intro to sign to oral education and all its associated parameters and issues was most enlightening, taking one right up to current mainstreaming emphasis.It is well written, organized, flows well and is just a delight to read. Certainly this is a major resource to understand this neglected and misunderstood group of fascinating humans.
